Art in advertising project at Central Methodist University required me to work alone to create eye catching ads using influential pieces of art.

For this project I did not want to simply place the art in an ad, I wanted to make the viewer really look at the artwork and take it in.  In order to accomplish this goal I decided to make my products actual elements of the pieces of art. Using art pieces that are immediately recognizable and adding a new element (my products) made these advertisements a great success.

These ads were voted best best in the class and I received and A on the overall project.




Given the task of choosing a company and creating a contemporary ad campaign for that company. I was tasked with choosing a brand, creating the overall strategy, and executing the contemporary ad campaign. I choose my owns personal business B.B Photography LLC as my "client" and strayed away from the Fortune 500 companies my classmates chose.

Although my primary goal on this project was to develop a campaign, I wanted to dig a little deeper. I knew through my business that over 95% of my target market are women and those women often view themselves in a negative manner. I wanted to take this thought and develop it into a cohesive and fun campaign. As a photographer I feel that I see the beauty in many thing other do not and this is the direction I choose to go with my campaign slogan "What you see" "What I see". I created this campaign with diversity in mind, I wanted this campaign to be usable though all media outlets.

This campaign was a success with my classmates and I got quite a few laughs along the way. Many  comments were made days and weeks later making me realize I did my job and made my campaign a memorable one.
